Sk. Tawfique Moyazzemul Haque is a Professor of Public Policy and Governance and the Director of the South Asian Institute of Policy and Governance (SIPG) at North South University (NSU). His research interests encompass migration studies, the Rohingya crisis, organizational culture, local governance, globalization, the international trade regime, development management, geopolitics, and climate change. He has authored seven books and fourteen book chapters published by leading international academic presses, including Springer, Routledge, Ashgate, and Palgrave Macmillan, in addition to seveal articles in nationally and internationally indexed scholarly journals. His most recent book, The Displaced Rohingyas: A Tale of a Vulnerable Community, was published by Routledge in 2024. Professor Haque serves as a member of the editorial board of South East Asia: A Multidisciplinary Journal (SEAMJ). With over twenty-five years of professional experience, he has been extensively involved in managing development, education, and research projects in collaboration with universities, research institutions, and multilateral development agencies across Asia, Europe, and North America.
